My book titled the Holy Scriptures is a personal visual investigation into the scriptures of the Hebrew Old Testament. As a Jewish kid growing up in an orthodox family in Jerusalem, I was not permitted to ask why: the scriptures were the ultimate truth. That was never adequate for me and, ever since, I’ve been engaged in systematic investigations to establish facts and evidence. This book is part of my journey.
Cancer, also called malignancy, is an abnormal growth of cells. There are more than 100 types of cancer, including breast cancer, skin cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer, prostate cancer, and lymphoma. Symptoms vary depending on the type. Cancer treatment may include chemotherapy, radiation, and/or surgery
In June 2008, I was diagnosed with advanced aggressive prostate cancer. I learned that I was in the late stages of the cancer and that it had spread outside of the prostate capsule.
In April 2010 I was diagnosed with bladder cancer.
This document is my mental and emotional navigation since I was diagnosed.

The year was 6911 of the Secular Calendar; I was back home at Triton, exhausted by the long ride from Planet Earth. We had to take the long way to Uranus. We were trying to avoid the effects of the Third Destruction of Planet Earth, which weakened the gravitational attraction of our Galaxy and released cosmic gases and dust into the system covering Pluto. It was the idea of Zelig the Man of Wisdom to take the long route; I trusted him. We were on the way to Neptune with the hope of landing safely on Triton. Obviously, we made it here. Now, one hundred years later, I am 609 years old, writing my memories of that journey.

“In the Shadow of the Dream” is a collection of images and writing. They are as inseparable from one another as a man from his shadow. This collection was compiled over a period of five years of work as a photographer for a portfolio business in New York City.
“In the Shadow of the Dream” is an endless, and therefore incomplete search. All anyone can do is to find the best means to get as close as he can to that dream. For me, to qualify for the Ernest Hass award is a big step in that direction.

Eugene Studio was a commercial photography studio I opened following my experiences working for other head shot studios in New York City. Opening my own studio permitted me to expand upon the kind of work I did, beyond head shots, and to diversify my client base. I worked for the fashion industry, magazines, and newspapers, locally and abroad.
This book is more about the concepts I tried to develop; a reflection on the social condition in relation to my daily work.
The collection of images in my book Enhanced Landscape is the result of a digital post-processing technique I use in my landscape photography. This technique permits me to heighten and manipulate light, color, and shape in order to reflect my vision back to the viewer.
